The hill above Hoczew a hill over the San between Hoczew and Średnia Wieś – about 404 m high. In X – XI century there was the fortified castle in elongate shape of oval (its diametr is about 80 m). There were discovered ruins of ramparts, and the porcelain from that period. These pieces of ramparts were made of clay and a pine wood.

On the nearby hill called „Wisielnik” there was also a small hill, which worked as watch-tower.
